Install on Windows

A.N.N. comes as a self-contained executable. There's no installer program, just put it anywhere you like and create shortcuts if required. A license file should be placed in the same folder as the app.

AV Check

The release is always checked before uploading but if you'd like to yourself VirusTotal is a comprehensive online scanner.

You can check the download here. Just click the Choose File button and select AnnApp.exe. VT first computes a unique hash of the file and as it will already be in its database from the prerelease tests there'll be no need for an actual upload to see the results.

Digital Signature

AnnApp.exe is digitally signed with an SSL.com code signing certificate. A valid certificate attests that the file hasn't been modified by a third party since signing. You can check its validity by examining the file properties (normally a right click over the file then select Properties).

On the Digital Signatures tab click Details and you'll see 'This digital signature is Ok.''

On the Details>Advanced tab you'll also see the issuer is SSL.com and the certificate serial number is 4feba4e4bd99a9f58510c7ff2cdc0c34.

SmartScreen Warning

AnnApp.exe has a relatively low number of downloads compared to other internet content so you might be warned about this by the Windows SmartScreen scanner. The warning will display the same publisher name as the ssl code signing certificate so you can be confident it hasn't been tampered with en route.
